Last year, the Southern Tennis Foundation announced the establishment of the Mike McNulty Endowed Scholarship Fund to provide college scholarships to deserving students across the South. The scholarships, worth $1,000 per year for four years, will go to worthy students who have been involved with tennis during their high school careers. Former Lake Charles Racquet Club member, Mike McNulty served as USTA Chairman of the Board of Directors and President 2020-2022 . He is only the fourth volunteer from USTA Southern to serve in this national leadership position.
In addition to the Mike McNulty endowed scholarship fund, the McNulty FUNraiser event will donate (2) – $1,000 scholarships to two local junior tennis players in the Southwest Louisiana.
